01Project description

CBRTP, as a member of the consortium, is executing a project in the field of geophysics and geological exploration, the main aim of which is to increase the effectiveness of the prospecting, recognition and exploitation of mineral resources and hydrocarbon (natural gas and petroleum) deposits, both conventional and unconventional (including those located in shale formations). The project results will have a positive impact on the safety and efficiency of petroleum and resource exploration, providing a potential for increased domestic extraction and exploitation.
The CBRTP and partners of the consortium are meeting the expectations in the area of continuous extraction increase of raw materials and fossil fuels while reducing the costs of their detection, recognition and exploitation. Both the CBRTP and other partners are accepting the market challenge of developing exploration solutions for the effective exploration of extremely complex, by European standards, Polish geological structures. This research will revolutionise the approach to exploration, and the application of new instruments and measurement and analytical techniques will allow the team to increase its share of the oil exploration market by increasing its competitiveness in the technical, operational and financial aspects.
The company co-operates with the leading research centres in this field: The company co-operates with the leading scientific centres in this field: AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków, Warsaw University of Technology and leading representatives of the oil industry, including PGNiG, Orlen, Lotos and the exploration companies like Geophysics Torun or the Geophysical Research Corporation.
CBRTP, as a key partner during the application process, optimised the financial and business model of the project, which resulted in a very high substantive assessment and a decision to finance the project amounting to more than PLN 14 million, and a record amount of funding of nearly PLN 6 million in the "Geology and Mining" thematic group.
