Modelling properties of semiconductor structures, including PV cells: software

Apparatus application in the surface engineering (e.g. sensors).

Surface engineering allows to modify surface of various materials using advanced deposition techniques such as ALD, PVD or CVD. Additionally, it allows to deposit new functional thin films.

Using mentioned deposition techniques, functional thin films can be deposited on metals, polymers, ceramics, carbon materials or composites.

Thin films improve material durability (extended lifetime due to improved abrasion resistance), increase tolerance to the environmental conditions (better corrosion protection), introduce catalytical properties Surface engineering allows to modify surface of various materials using advanced deposition techniques such as ALD, PVD or CVD. (photocatalysis of LZO), allows to produce sensors (deposition of MOS-type thin films on silicon wafers or elastic substrate), determine the reaction between the material and the biological environment (protection films in implantology). Accordingly designed thin films allow application in electronics and energy conversion area (designing optical properties – photovoltaics).
